HAN Xiangxin is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, affiliated with the Institute of Thermal Energy Engineering. His research focuses on combustion theory and utilization technology of fossil fuels, including oil shale, coal, and solid waste. He has led several research projects funded by national and provincial programs, including studies on oil shale fluidized bed retorting and incineration technologies. HAN has published extensively in international journals and holds multiple patents related to oil shale and solid waste utilization. He also serves on the editorial board of Oil Shale.
