Regular biography
GU Lin is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include high efficient machining of difficult-to-cut materials, non-traditional machining, blasting erosion arc machining, and micro-EDM. He has conducted several National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, including studies on high performance contour arc cutting and high efficiency electrical arc machining. GU Lin has published numerous SCI papers in reputable journals and has contributed to the design of high performance electrical arc machining machines. He teaches undergraduate courses such as Manufacturing Technology I and Advanced Manufacturing, as well as graduate-level courses on experimental design and analysis.
