Regular biography
GE Bing is a Faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include low-emission combustion technology of syngas in gas turbine combustors, laser diagnostics in combustion, and combustion instability in multi-nozzle combustors. He has conducted research on the interaction and compounding mechanisms of flames in syngas/air low swirl lean premixed multi-nozzle combustors and the effects of processing vortex core (PVC) on flame dynamics in multi-nozzle premixed combustors. He has published numerous papers in SCI-indexed journals and has been involved in several National Natural Science Foundation projects. He teaches courses such as Computational Combustion, Principles of Turbomachinery, Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine, and Turbomachinery Aerodynamics.
