Regular biography
FAN Weidong is a Faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include highly effective and clean combustion theory, advanced burner technology, control theory of greenhouse gas and pollutants from combustion, thermochemical conversion of fuel, and technologies for fossil fuel power plants. He has led numerous research projects funded by national and industrial sources, focusing on combustion mechanisms, emissions control, and boiler performance. FAN has published extensively in leading energy and fuels journals and holds several patents related to low-NOx combustion technologies. His work addresses critical challenges in clean energy production and environmental protection.
