Regular biography
DU Zhimin is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include AI for building energy systems, data mining, machine learning, and fault prognostics for building energy systems. He has conducted research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and collaborated with international institutions such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology and Carrier (USA). DU has published numerous papers in reputable journals and holds several patents related to HVAC systems and fault diagnosis. He also teaches courses on intelligent energy systems and automation in buildings.
