Regular biography
DONG Xingjian is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include structure reliability, vibration analysis, and vibration control. He has led several national projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects and sub-projects of the '863' Program and the National '973' Program. DONG has published numerous papers in reputable journals such as the Journal of Sound and Vibration and IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. He has also contributed to the development of patents related to PZT smart structures. His work focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of vibration control and structural dynamics.
