Regular biography
DONG Wei is a Faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include flow and heat transfer in gas turbines, CFD and numerical heat transfer, aircraft icing and anti-icing, thermal management, compact heat exchangers, and advanced experimental technology of flow and heat transfer. He has conducted research projects related to aircraft icing and protection, numerical simulation of ice crystal melting and freezing in turbofan engines, and heat transfer characteristics under icing conditions. DONG has published numerous papers in journals and conferences, contributing to the fields of aerodynamic heating, anti-icing systems, and thermal analysis of aero-engine components. He teaches Heat Transfer to undergraduate students and Computational Fluid Dynamics to graduate students.
