CHI Zhongran

CHI Zhongran is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, affiliated with the Institute of Turbomachinery. His research interests include turbine high-pressure (HGP) design optimization, unsteady flow and heat transfer in air-cooled turbines, and closed Brayton cycles. He has led multiple government and enterprise-funded research projects and published extensively in journals such as ASME Journal of Turbomachinery and International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer. CHI also teaches courses in Engineering Thermodynamics II and Computational Fluid Dynamics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
