Regular biography
CHEN Yong is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include the structure, strength, vibration, and life of aero engines, as well as the design, analysis, and testing of composite fan blades. He has conducted studies on fracture mechanics in icing and deicing of aero engines and has participated in several research projects, including investigations on composite fan blade design and ice adhesion strength. CHEN has published numerous papers in journals and conferences, focusing on topics such as ice shedding, fan blade vibration, and thermal analysis. He is a member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and ASME.
