Regular biography
CHEN Bingjie is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on advanced diagnostics, combustion kinetics, and pollutant formation mechanisms, particularly in the context of sustainable aviation fuel and ammonia/hydrocarbon high pressure combustion. CHEN has published extensively in leading combustion research journals, including the Proceedings of the Combustion Institute and Combustion and Flame. His work explores oxidation chemistry in jet-stirred reactors and low-temperature oxidation processes. CHEN has also contributed to research on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and their formation pathways. He is affiliated with the Institute of Advanced Energy and Powertrain Technology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
