ZHAO Yong

ZHAO Yong is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering at Peking University. His research focuses on video-based machine learning, deep learning applications in ADAS, industrial machine vision, and intelligent transportation. His work includes feature extraction, scene detection, tracking, and behavior analysis of video images. He has developed license plate recognition technology for intelligent transportation, achieving industry-leading performance. His research also explores dynamic target detection, tracking, and behavior analysis in intelligent monitoring systems. Collaborative projects with the Hong Kong Productivity Council have advanced fatigue driving detection and ADAS technologies. His research spans industrial process monitoring, quality inspection, and the development of intelligent video analysis tools.
