LI Ge

LI Ge is a Faculty member in the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering at Peking University. His research interests include multimedia processing and analysis, artificial intelligence and data mining, and signal processing and digital communication. He is the head of the Shenzhen Branch of the National Engineering Laboratory for Digital Video Codec Technology of Peking University and leader of the Point Cloud Coding Thematic Group of China Digital Audio and Video Codec Technology Standard (AVS). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, USA, and was a postdoctoral fellow in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Davis. He has published numerous papers in international conferences and journals and has applied for several invention patents.
