Noelia Grande Gutiérrez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research interests focus on the intersection of computational engineering and cardiovascular medicine, particularly in the development and application of multiphysics models to support clinical decision making and provide insight into cardiovascular disease. She holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and has completed multiple master’s degrees in engineering sciences, biomedical engineering, and aerospace engineering. She has received fellowships from the American Heart Association and la Caixa Foundation and has served as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Diamond Lab at the University of Pennsylvania.
