Howie Choset is a Kavčić-Moura Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on robotics, particularly in the development of snake robots for applications in confined spaces. Choset has contributed to fundamental research in mechanism design, path planning, motion planning, and estimation.
