Professor Simon Guest

Professor Simon Guest is a Professor of Structural Mechanics in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include Structures, Rigidity, Deployable Structures, Tensegrity, Symmetry, Bistable Structures, Zero Stiffness, and related areas such as Morphing lattice structures, Biological structures, and Symmetry. He is also a fellow of Trinity Hall and currently serves as Deputy Head of Department (teaching) in Engineering, overseeing undergraduate courses.
