Gordon R Munro is a Professor Emeritus in the Vancouver School of Economics at The University of British Columbia. He is also an Associate of the Institute for Oceans and Fisheries at the university. His main research interest is in the economics of the management of world fishery resources, which has led him to work with the FAO of the UN, the OECD, and the World Bank. He teaches Economics 356 and Economics 472. His professional affiliations include the Institute for Research in Economics and Business Administration (SNF), Norway, where he holds the title of Distinguished Research Fellow.
