Ying Gao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at The University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on economic theory, with an emphasis on models of disclosure, signaling, and reputation. She applies game theory to questions in markets and organizations, and explores intersections with approaches in computer science. Gao holds a Ph.D. in economics from MIT.
