Michael Devereux is a Professor in the Vancouver School of Economics at The University of British Columbia. He has been affiliated with UBC since 1992 and holds a PhD from Queen’s University. His research focuses on international macroeconomics and international finance, with ongoing collaborative projects involving co-authors in Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia. At UBC, he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in international finance and monetary economics. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a Research Associate at NBER and CEPR, and holds a Chair at Royal Bank.
