Regular biography
Mauricio Drelichman is a Professor at The University of British Columbia, affiliated with the Department of ECON. His research area is economic history, with a particular focus on Early Modern Spain. He is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and obtained his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA. At UBC, he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses and serves as Director of Undergraduate Studies (Faculty and Academic).
