Regular biography
Kevin Song is a Professor in the Department of Economics at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on econometrics, particularly inference on nonparametric and semiparametric models, optimal inference for nonregular parameters, and structural models based on agent interactions. He obtained his B.A. from Seoul National University and Ph.D. from Yale University. Prior to joining the Vancouver School of Economics in 2011, he served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. His work includes contributions to testing functional inequalities, conditional expectation functionals, and semiparametric models.
