Ina Anreiter

Ina Anreiter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell & Systems Biology at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on Animal Biology, Genetics / Genomics, Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology. She investigates gene-regulatory processes underlying behaviour in Drosophila melanogaster, with an emphasis on understanding the roles of genetics, epigenetics, epitrancriptomics, and the environment in regulating behaviour, plasticity, and individual differences. Her work explores molecular pathways through which the environment interacts with genes, the long-term effects of these interactions, and differences between individuals and sexes.
