Scott L. Delp, Ph.D., is the James H. Clark Professor in the School of Engineering, Professor of Bioengineering and of Mechanical Engineering, and Director of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance at Stanford University. He is also the Director of the Restore Center and the Mobilize Center, both NIH national centers. His research focuses on developing technologies to advance movement science and human health. Dr. Delp has published over 325 research articles in biomechanics and co-founded six health technology companies. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. Prior to joining Stanford, he was on the faculty at Northwestern University and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
