Barbara Block

Barbara Block is a Lecturer in the Department of Biology at Stanford University. Her research focuses on thermal physiology, open ocean predators, ecological physiology, and tuna biology. She is affiliated with the Woods Institute for the Environment and maintains an active research laboratory. Block holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
