Jennifer Rexford

Jennifer Rexford is the Gordon Y.S. Wu Professor of Engineering and Provost of Princeton University. She is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and has served as chair of the computer science department from 2015 to 2022. Her research focuses on computer networking with the goal of making future networks worthy of the trust society increasingly places in them. She is co-author of the books "Web Protocols and Practice" and "The Real Internet Architecture: Past, Present, and Future Evolution" and co-editor of "She's an Engineer? Princeton Alumnae Reflect." She has received numerous awards, including the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award, the ACM Athena Lecturer Award, and the IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal. She is an ACM Fellow, an IEEE Fellow, and a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Sciences.
