Parastoo Abtahi

Parastoo Abtahi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Princeton University. She joined Princeton as an assistant professor in 2023. Her research in human-computer interaction focuses on augmented reality and spatial computing. Abtahi leads Princeton’s Situated Interactions Lab (Ψ Lab) as part of the Princeton HCI Group. Prior to joining Princeton, she was a visiting research scientist at Meta Reality Labs Research. She received her doctoral degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, as part of the Engineering Science program.
