Reed Maxwell

Reed Maxwell is the William and Edna Macaleer Professor of Engineering and Applied Science in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University. His research focuses on Water, Climate and Energy, Hydrology and the Atmospheric Environment. His work explores the connections within the hydrologic cycle, particularly groundwater, evapotranspiration, and snow, under anthropogenic stresses. Maxwell's research group employs integrated hydrologic modeling, field observations, and remote sensing to address these challenges. He is also the Director of the Integrated Groundwater Modeling Center and a Professor at the High Meadows Environmental Institute.
