Aaditya Rangan

Aaditya Rangan is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at New York University, Department of Mathematics. His research focuses on computational biology and numerical analysis, with recent work exploring dynamics in neuronal networks, particularly within the insect olfactory system and mammalian primary visual cortex. He has also developed tools for detecting structure in large data sets, such as identifying biclusters in gene-expression and SNP data. His publications include studies on emergent dynamics in models of the visual cortex and synaptic-depression in a model of the fly antennal lobe.
