Regular biography
Piergiorgio Percipalle is an Associate Professor of Biology at New York University Abu Dhabi, where he also serves as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs and Program Head of Biology. He holds a Global Network Professor position in Biology. Percipalle earned his MSc and PhD in Molecular Genetics from the International School for Advanced Studies and the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Trieste, Italy. His research focuses on molecular genetics and cell biology, with prior post-doctoral work at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK, and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He previously held an Associate Professor position at the Karolinska Institute and a Guest Professor position at Stockholm University.
