Ken-ichiro Kamei is an Associate Professor of Biology at New York University, with a joint appointment in Biology and Bioengineering. He is also a Global Network Associate Professor of Biology, Faculty of Arts and Science, NYU, and a Global Network Professor of Biomedical Engineering, NYU Tandon. Kamei's research focuses on stem cell biology, organs-on-a-chip, nano/microtechnology, drug discovery, and regenerative medicine. His work aims to develop miniature devices that replicate physiological and pathological conditions in vitro.
