Regular biography
Stephanie Knezz is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University. She received a B.S. in Chemistry from Butler University and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied physical organic chemistry in the McMahon research group. Her work focuses on the instruction of large, introductory STEM courses, particularly Organic Chemistry. She is committed to adapting STEM curricula to be culturally relevant and making large STEM classes inclusive and identity-focused.
