Sossina Haile is a Joint Professor with Materials Science and Engineering and holds a Courtesy Appointment in Chemistry at Northwestern University. She earned her B.S. from MIT in 1986, M.S. from UC Berkeley in 1988, and Ph.D. from MIT in 1992. Haile's research focuses on electrochemically functional materials relevant to sustainable energy technologies.
