Hazel Sive is a Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Department of Biology. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying vertebrate face and brain formation, including the Extreme Anterior Domain and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is also involved in studying the brain ventricular system and basal constriction. In June 2020, she moved to become Dean of Science and Professor of Biology at Northeastern University. She maintains an active lab and accepts postdoctoral fellows.
