Elizabeth Patitsas

Elizabeth Patitsas is an assistant professor at McGill University, jointly appointed (50/50) between the School of Computer Science and the Department of Integrated Studies in Education. Her research focuses on the sociology of computer science education, including gender issues, policy issues, and the social factors shaping computer science as a field. She is also interested in disability studies, the history of computer science, and social theory for CS education research. Patitsas is the founding member of the Social Studies of Computing Research Group and a member of the Science and Mathematics Education Research Group.
