About
Regular biography

Xiao-Wen Chang is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at McGill University. Their research focuses on numerical linear algebra, numerical methods for estimation, and optimization. Chang's work explores the integration of machine learning techniques, particularly graph learning, with traditional numerical methods to develop effective algorithms for parameter estimation and detection problems. These algorithms find applications in wireless communications, signal processing, control, localization in wireless sensor networks, and GNSS-based positioning. They are also interested in lattice reduction and its applications in integer programming, cryptanalysis, and computer algebra. Their contact information is available at chang@cs.mcgill.ca, and their profile page can be accessed at http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~chang/.
