Craig Webb

Craig Webb is a Senior Lecturer of Microeconomic Theory in the Department of Economics at The University of Manchester. His research focuses on microeconomics, particularly individual choice under risk and uncertainty. He is interested in the preference foundations of utility models of choice under risk, uncertainty, or time, as well as the analysis of behavioural patterns inconsistent with classical Microeconomic Theory, such as loss aversion and ambiguity aversion. Webb supervises PhD students and teaches courses including Microeconomic Analysis 1 and Advanced Topics in Microeconomic Theory. His work contributes to the understanding of decision-making processes and their integration into mathematical models of economic behaviour.
