Regular biography
Chris Wallace is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at The University of Manchester. His research focuses on game theory, particularly the acquisition, use, and disclosure of information in games. He has published in journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, the Economic Journal, the Journal of Economic Theory, and the Journal of Monetary Economics. Wallace previously served as Head of Department at The University of Manchester from 2018 to 2021 and from 2022 to 2025. He is currently on sabbatical (research leave).
