Mario Pezzino

Mario Pezzino is Professor of Economics at The University of Manchester, Department of ECON. His research interests include applied microeconomic theory and industrial economics, with specific areas such as industrial organization of hospitals and the pharmaceutical market, evolutionary games, economics of crime, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He joined the university in 2009 as Lecturer in Industrial Economics and currently serves as Deputy Head of the School of Social Sciences. His work contributes to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Quality Education, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
