Simon Peters

Simon Peters is a Lecturer in Econometrics at The University of Manchester, Department of Economics. His research focuses on applied microeconometrics, specification testing, inequality, and data problems. His work includes experimental economics, observational labour market behaviour, poverty and inequality measurement, and state space modelling of time series. Peters has contributed to projects such as the CoDE: Centre on Dynamics of Ethnicity and has published in areas including equity crowdfunding, credit risk, and semantic deep learning. His research aligns with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, including No Poverty, Good Health and Well-being, and Reduced Inequalities.
