Antonio Nicolo

Antonio Nicolo is Professor of Economics at The University of Manchester and the University of Padova. His research interests include social choice, mechanism design, political economy, and matching theory. He has held visiting positions at institutions such as the European University Institute, the University of Chicago, and the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Nicolo is currently President of the Association of Southern European Economic Theorists. His work contributes to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including gender equality, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, and peace, justice, and strong institutions.
