Xizi Luo is a Lecturer in Economic History at The University of Manchester, Department of ECON. Her research focuses on economic history and political economy, with particular interests in social mobility, family structures, and the role of marriage in historical contexts. Luo holds a Doctor of Social Science in Quantitative Economic History from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
