Omer Edhan

Omer Edhan is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at The University of Manchester, Department of ECON. His research interests include learning and AI in macroeconomics, learning and evolution, and markets with indivisible goods. Edhan's work explores the intersection of evolutionary dynamics, social learning, and complex economic systems. His current research agenda focuses on the long-run implications of artificial intelligence for economic growth and the structural transformation of labour, as well as the stability and convergence of learning processes within economic environments. He is also interested in multi-dimensional social learning and high-dimensional fitness landscapes. Edhan is open to supervising PhD students on topics related to economic theory.
