Caitlin Brown

Caitlin Brown is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Manchester, affiliated with the Department of Economics. Her research focuses on development, applied microeconomics, poverty, intra-household inequality, health, and gender. She is a Research Affiliate with the Institute for Fiscal Studies and co-editor of The Manchester School journal. Brown holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University and has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Central European University and a Consultant with the World Bank's Development Research Group. Her work contributes to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including poverty reduction, gender equality, and health.
