John Van Reenen is the Ronald Coase Chair in Economics and School Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, affiliated with the Department of Economics. His research focuses on applied microeconomics, particularly the causes and consequences of technological and managerial innovation in relation to the labour market. He is also Director of the Programme on Innovation and Diffusion (POID) and an Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) Growth Research Programme. His work explores the impact of innovation on economic outcomes, with an emphasis on labor market dynamics.
