Lord Nicholas Stern is the IG Patel Chair of Economics and Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he is also affiliated with the Global School of Sustainability and the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. His research focuses on the Economics of Climate Change, Economic Development and Growth, Economic Theory, Tax Reform, Public Policy, and the Role of the State in Economies in Transition. He is a member of several research centres and initiatives at LSE, including STICERD and the India Observatory. His work addresses critical global challenges through economic analysis and policy development.
