Maitreesh Ghatak

Maitreesh Ghatak is a Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, affiliated with the Department of Economics. His research focuses on Development Economics, Public Economics, and the Economics of Organisations. He is a Lead Academic at the India-Bihar Country Team of the Institute for Global Prosperity (IGC) and an Associate of the STICERD Economic Organisation and Public Policy Programme. Ghatak also serves as a Director of the STICERD Theory Group and an Associate of the STICERD Psychology and Economics Initiative. His teaching includes courses such as EC240: PPE Interdisciplinary Research Seminar and EC428: Development and Growth.
