Robin Burgess

Robin Burgess is a Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, affiliated with the Department of Economics. His research interests include Development Economics, Environmental Economics, Political Economy, Public Economics, and Labour Economics. He is co-Founder and Director of the International Growth Centre (IGC) and Director of the Economics of Environment and Energy (EEE) Research Programme. Burgess is also co-Director of the Coase Project on the Economics of Climate, Energy and Environment. He is an Affiliate of J-PAL and Y-RISE, a Research Fellow in CEPR and CESifo, and a Fellow of the British Academy and the Econometric Society. His work focuses on environmental economics, development economics, and political economy, with current research in various countries.
