Wayne Luk

Wayne Luk is a Professor of Computer Engineering at the Department of Computing, Imperial College London. His research focuses on hardware and architecture, reconfigurable computing, and design automation. He leads the Programming Languages and Systems Section and the Custom Computing Research Group, and directs the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in High Performance Embedded and Distributed Systems. His work involves reconfigurable devices such as field-programmable gate arrays, with applications in high-performance financial computing and embedded biomedical systems. He has been a Visiting Professor at Stanford University and is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the IEEE, and the BCS.
