Wenjia Bai

Dr Wenjia Bai is an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at Imperial College London, jointly appointed in the Department of Computing and the Department of Brain Sciences. Her research focuses on medical image analysis and understanding, with an emphasis on machine learning. She leads the Medical Vision group at the Data Science Institute and is a faculty member of the Biomedical Image Analysis (BioMedIA) Group. Dr Bai has published over 160 peer-reviewed articles and has received numerous awards, including the Best Paper Award for Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance in 2018 and the Dudley Pennell Prize in 2022. She is also actively involved in editorial and grant review roles.
