Regular biography
Seraphina Eun Bi Lee is a Benjamin Peirce Fellow at Harvard University in the Department of Mathematics. Her research focuses on low-dimensional topology, particularly Lefschetz fibrations and mapping class groups of 4-manifolds. Lee received her PhD from the University of Chicago in 2025 under the supervision of Benson Farb. She was an undergraduate at Cornell University. Her work includes studies on Lefschetz pencils, del Pezzo surfaces, and isotopy classes of involutions. She has published several preprints and papers in journals such as the Pacific Journal of Mathematics and Advances in Mathematics. Her contact information is available at slee@math.harvard.edu.
