Regular biography
Alex Epelde is a fourth year graduate student in mathematics at Harvard University, advised by Peter Kronheimer. His research interests lie broadly in geometry and topology, with a focus on singular instanton knot homology and its relation to quantum knot invariants. Epelde completed his undergraduate studies at Trinity College, Cambridge, and grew up in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. He maintains a personal website where he shares lecture notes from his time at Cambridge, as well as expository work and software projects related to mathematics.
